Since opening in 2004, Julie Rutherford Real Estate has grown into one of the largest agencies in the area. The agency provides real estate sales and property management services in Bermagui and surrounding area including Cobargo, Quaama and Tilba districts.

We have properties to suit all tastes, requirements and budgets. It is our sole aim to provide exceptional service to our clients and customers and we delight in finding the ‘right’ property and the ‘right’ buyer or tenant for each property.

Julie Rutherford Real Estate offers property management services for permanent and short term holiday rental with over 150 properties currently under management.

Meet Our staff....

Julie Rutherford
Licensee and Sales Person

Born and bred in the country, Julie has lived in both Sydney and Melbourne, working in sales and account management in the corporate sector. Her experience in negotiating at all levels and dealing confidently and competently with people from all walks of life is a part of Julie’s success. Her reputation for listening and understanding the needs of her clients is consistent with her ability to match people with properties. Business in a small town requires positive word of mouth which Julie has achieved proven by constant referral and repeat business from many happy clients.

Julie has lived on the Sapphire Coast for over 20 years and has worked in real estate for most of them. In these years Julie has developed a strong knowledge of the local market. Her professional enthusiasm and sincerity comes from her real love for Bermagui and surrounding areas. Julie and husband Neil have 4 children, all raised in the district, and currently resides at Fairhaven in the Wallaga Lake area.

Jane Goodridge
Property Manager

Jane relocated with her husband to the Bermagui area from Orange. A licensed real state agent, Jane has over 10 years experience in the industry. Jane’s experience has brought a high degree of expertise to the Julie Rutherford Real Estate team. Jane prides herself on her initiative and organisational skills. Her work ethic and genuine love for the Bermagui area contributes to her success in her role as property manager. Jane lives with her husband on a rural property at Quaama, just west of Bermagui.

Claire Farnham
Sales/Marketing support

Claire has grown up in the Narooma area and now resides in Bermagui with her husband. With over 10 years work experience in the real estate industry, Claire has a well-developed understanding of the local property market and the administrative and customer service skills necessary to provide efficient support to our sales team. Claire also looks after all the marketing media including our websites and property guides for sales and property management. Claire is the ‘go to girl’ for sales enquiries when the salespeople are not available.

Patrice Austin
Property officer

Patrice has worked for Julie Rutherford Real Estate since 2006 and is one of our longest serving employees. With her husband and sons working in building Patrice has extensive knowledge of the real estate sector of the property industry. Patrice is diligent in her role as Chief Reservation Clerk as well as assisting with permanent rentals. Patrice’s administration and coordination of cleaners and tradespeople is a testament to her organisational skills. Patrice lives on Cuttagee Lake just south of Bermagui.

Renee Chafe
Holidays Rentals Property Manager

Renee and her husband Guy moved to Bermagui in late 2010 – a long held goal of Renee's – as they were keen to leave behind the rat race and enjoy the lifestyle of the far south coast. Renee was brought up on the NSW Central Coast but Renees mother comes from one of the original Cobargo families and Renee has fond memories of many holidays spent camping with her family in the Mimosa Rocks National Park south of Bermagui.

Having studied and worked in the Tourism and Recreation industries, Rene has many years experience in client relations, account management and business administration. Renee is responsible for management of the Holiday Rentals and works closely with the Property Manager to provide a high level of skill, advice and communication to our landlord clients and tenants.
